Take Me Home - Advocates For Transport We save dogs from high-risk shelters by transporting them to areas where they are quickly adopted. All donations to Take Me Home Transport are tax deductible!

Take Me Home Transport is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization with a mission to rescue and transport healthy, adoptable animals facing euthanasia from overcrowded rural shelters to no-kill shelters. This serves three outcomes - saving lives, easing overcrowding in rural animal shelters and providing adoptable pets to loving homes.

The Take Me Home Team has Fall-en in love with the number of dogs we have been able to send on life-saving transports so far this Fall. 🍂🍁🍂

Take a glimpse at the latest 29 that safely made the journey. They arrived on Friday & by Sunday we learned that adoptions were already happening! 💗🐾💗

Our partner sending shelters advocating for their dogs, drivers safely navigating the long drive, our partner receiving shelters welcoming Texas dogs, & dedicated TMH supporters stepping up again & again, make these possibilities a reality. 🫶🫶🫶

Our hearts are full. 💓💓💓

October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month.🐾🐾

All of the dogs in this post found their forever families after making a journey on our Take Me Home - Advocates For Transport vans & being adopted from one of our partner shelters. ❤️🏡❤️

So many of the pups that have stolen our hearts have joined our families by being adopted from animal shelters. 🐶🩷
