DIRECTIONS:
The DFA is the Doty Fine Arts building, the room is in the Kendra Scott lobby and NOT on the 4th floor. It will be downstairs in the meeting room with the glass door.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: we will be having a guest speaker, Echo, one of the founding members of 1214 Entertainment based here in Austin. She will be talking about music business, being an A&R, and coordinating events such as the recent YAR Music Festival which included the artists Agnez Mo, Tiffany Day, Rei Ami, and many more.

Meeting Today at 6:30 in DFA 4.106. 🙌🏼 We will be having a presentation on sound design using samples. This is a great prep session for our semesterly Journey sound design competition (rewards for the top submissions!). Hope to see everyone there! 🎉🙌🏼

Meeting this Thursday in DFA 4.106 at 6:30 PM. It is a challenge meeting ! The Telephone Game challenge is a TMP member favorite. We split everyone into groups and have each group collaborate on a specific section of a track before swapping it with another group. After a few rounds there are usually some interesting end results. See everyone there !

We will be having a presentation about using reference tracks to benefit your own projects and creativity. To prepare for the activity, come prepared with a few songs whose production you find interesting or unique. If you can get an audio file for them, even better. See everyone there!! Meeting this Thursday at 6:30 in DFA 4.106. We will be having a workshop on using audio samples in your DAW!

After a presentation, you all will have a chance to work with some samples yourself so please bring a laptop and headphones. If you do not have a DAW installed, please refer to the document in our discord under for some trials or free DAW recommendations!! 🎹🎧
