We provide immediate assistance to children in need in the 30 counties that make up Region 7 of Central Texas. Often these children are removed from their homes with nothing more than the clothes on their backs. Something as simple as a pair of shoes, a backpack, summer camp, or music lessons can make all the difference in the life of a foster child. Most requests are in the areas of:
• education

(summer school, GED testing, books, tuition, computer, etc.)
• recreation (summer camp, sports teams, uniforms, music lessons, birthday parties)
• clothing and personal care items
• housing and shelter (beds, cribs, linens, air conditioner, etc.)
• food
• medical needs (eye glasses, prosthetics, etc.)
• adoption expenses
• transportation (bus passes, car seats)

REMINDER! Last day to apply for the FACT Scholarship is May 29th!

If you are a current or former foster youth pursuing a postsecondary degree at a trade school, community college, or university, this is your chance to receive $5,000 to $12,000 in annual support for housing, food, books, transportation, and more.⁠

For many teens in foster care, weekends like this don’t come around often, it’s a chance to breathe in the salt air, cast a fishing line, and simply be a teen. It’s more than a trip to the coast.
