Congratulations to the UIW School of Osteopathic Medicine Class of 2030 on celebrating their White Coat Ceremony and officially beginning their medical education journey.

TOMA is especially excited to connect with the UIWSOM community in San Antonio, where we’ll host the 71st MidWinter Conference, February 26–27, 2027. We look forward to engaging with students, faculty and physicians as we bring MidWinter to San Antonio for the first time.

A legacy of rural medicine is helping shape the next generation of Texas physicians. TCOM alumni Robert and Valerie DeLuca, DO, have established the Valerie K. DeLuca, DO and Robert C. DeLuca, DO Rural Health Scholarship Endowment to support students in TCOM’s Rural Osteopathic Medical Education program who are committed to serving rural communities.

Their story reflects more than five decades of combined service in Eastland, Texas, and a shared belief in the value of relationships, community and access to care in rural medicine.
