Work part at the Legion! Replaced one of our walls. Rebuilt it, added sheetrock, texture, sanded, and about to get started on painting. Also, replacing the ceiling tiles. Making some great improvements to our Post and looking forward to providing a modern looking post on top of the many services we offer. #83 💥🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 🇺🇸 @ American Legion Post 83

***Notice***

As of June 1st, 2018 the American Legion Knebel Post 83 will be going Non Smoking. This decision was made on April 7, 2018 and voted on and passed. There will be designated smoking areas lined out to continue moving forward.

The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System is seeking volunteers who are interested in transporting veterans to and from appointments at the Doris Miller VA Medical Center in Waco.

On March 15-17, 1919, a group of a war-weary veterans of World War I convened in Paris with one goal: to form an organization focused on service to veterans, servicemembers and communities. Less than two months later in St. Louis, The American Legion was adopted as the organization's official name.
