USTA is hosting the Reginald F. Lewis Game Changer Award and asking participants ages 11-18 apart of CTTA to nominate their coach, tutor, volunteer, or staff member who has made the biggest impact in their lives. It takes 5-10 minutes.

Nominations close: June 1, 2026

Two national recipients will be selected and honored at the US Open, along with a $10,000 grant to support and strengthen youth development efforts at their chapter.

Congrats goes out to the following CTTA kids for proving we play to and you don’t have to belong to a country club, or an academy or even practice every day, but to give 💯 at all times you will always be a winner no matter what the scores show.

Alina may have had a noise bleed, but she was not about to quit. She and her partner JT Fletcher went on to win their doubles match with ease.

Thank you to all the youth who attended our NJTL Summer Tennis Camp. From field trips to Camp Glimmer to our Friday Fundays, it was an amazing summer!

We ended our program with our Annual End of Summer Back to School event. Participants played singles, doubles, and we even had a fun Parent/Child division. Thank you parents, staff, and volunteers for joining the fun. Your help and donations have been overwhelming this year: preparing backpacks, handing out school supplies, shoes, setting up games, making snow cones, providing snacks, and cheering on our kids!

Everyone rest up, get ready for the school year, and I’ll see you in the Fall.
