BIO Mama Duke (Kori Roy)
Mama Duke isn’t just an artist, she’s a force rewriting the rules of music and culture. A two-time Austin Hip-Hop Award winner, two-time Austin Music Award nominee, and Recording Academy member, she’s one of the most vital voices to emerge from Texas in a generation.
After earning Mel B’s Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent Season 20, she became the first female rapper ever to reach the show’s Top 10, proving that rap can be stadium-sized, vulnerable, and unstoppable all at once.
Her sound echoes across Austin, from ACL Fest to the Austin FC Amphitheater, from the Juiceland jingle she wrote to the anthem played before every Austin FC match.
Mama Duke stands as a mirror for countless communities, carrying stories that deserve the spotlight. She isn’t following a blueprint, she’s building a new one.
