On May 19, 2026, the Texas Builders Foundation awarded a $4,500 Tool Grant to Palmer ISD in Palmer, Texas, for their high school's Construction Trades program.

Over the last two years, students have been working to construct a tiny home (pictured here) with the help of Elmwood Homes. The tiny home will soon go up for auction, and all proceeds will go back into Palmer ISD's program.

With the Foundation's mission to grow the future of the residential construction workforce, The Texas Builders Foundation is proud to support Palmer ISD in their efforts to provide essential skills training to the next generation.
