You know the sign. But do you know the story behind it? 👀

On Tuesday, October 27, we’re going Behind the Sign with Clay McPhail, owner and former writer of El Arroyo’s iconic messages.

Clay will take us behind the scenes of the creativity, timing, and storytelling that went into turning a few carefully chosen words into something that could make a commuter laugh, spark a conversation, and eventually travel far beyond Austin on social media.

📅 Tuesday, October 27
🕚 11:45 AM–1:00 PM
📍 Ben Hur Shrine Temple
7811 Rockwood Ln., Austin

We hang out. We have a b**r. We change the world. 🍻🌎

Because Rotary is more than meetings and service projects. It’s a community of impact minded people who genuinely like being together and believe a little fun can do a lot of good.

This time, we’re coming together for a world without polio.

MEMBER MOMENTS: Meet the People Behind Rotary

Rotary is powered by people who bring their time, talents, passions, and ideas to the table. In our Member Moments series, we're getting to know the incredible individuals who make the Rotary Club of Austin what it is.

This week, we're shining the spotlight on the one and only... Jeanine Olsen! 🎉

Get to know the person behind the Rotary pin and discover a little more about the people who turn shared values into meaningful action in our community.

Because Rotary isn't just about the projects we complete. It's about the people who make them possible.

Curious about Rotary, but not quite sure what it’s all about? 👀

Join us for Discover Rotary: A Conversation About Service and Community on October 21!

This is a laid-back, 30-minute Zoom conversation where you can meet a few of our members, ask questions, hear what we’re involved in, and get a feel for what makes the Rotary Club of Austin such a special community.

No formal presentation. No pressure. Just a chance to meet us, learn more, and see if Rotary might be a good fit for you.
