At this year's Ethics in Business Awards, our Rotary Club of Austin President Cindy Brummer challenged us with a question that extends far beyond the workplace.

As Rotarians, we're guided by the Four-Way Test; a framework that asks us to consider truth, fairness, goodwill, and benefit to all concerned. These principles continue to shape how we lead, serve, and show up in our community.

Thank you to RecognizeGood and all of this year's honorees for reminding us that integrity matters and that strong communities are built by leaders who choose to do the right thing, especially when it isn't the easy thing.

The Rotary Club of Austin was in full force at the 25th Annual Ethics in Business Awards luncheon, hosted by RecognizeGood.

Three of our members were among the honorees, and President Cindy Brummer shared in a keynote speech how ethics is operationalized by character in action including “small decisions - the daily decisions that don’t make headlines.”

Congratulations to everyone who was recognized for letting their ethics guide their business decisions that end up making Austin such a wonderful place to live.
