PLEASE consider this sweet senior. She has a lot of life left in her.
DOG FRIENDLY
My name is Cera, and I’m with the Converse Animal Care Facility. I’d love to introduce you to a very special senior girl currently in our care named Carly Marie. We believe Carly would truly blossom in a calm, loving home where she can enjoy personalized attention, companionship, and the comfort of being outside the shelter environment. Carly Marie has been with us since 09/11/2025, and we are hopeful her perfect match is out there.
Carly is approximately 7 years old and was found to be roaming as a stray in Converse, Texas. She has a gentle and affectionate personality and especially enjoys spending time in our play yard where she can stretch her legs, play, and relax. She thrives during one-on-one time with the people she trusts and has such a sweet, cooperative spirit. Carly already knows how to sit for treats, and she does wonderfully during baths and nail trims. She’s truly a lovely companion!
Carly is fully vetted and up to date on:
DHLPP (annual)
Bordetella (annual)
Rabies (annual)
Heartworm test: negative
Monthly heartworm prevention
Spayed
Microchipped
Like many dogs who spend extended time in a shelter setting, Carly can sometimes become excited or vocal when behind barriers. However, once she is outside of that environment, her affectionate and loving personality really shines through. We truly believe she has so much potential to thrive in a patient, understanding home.
Attached are photos of Carly Marie. If you have any questions or would like more information about her, please feel free to reach out to me by email. Thank you so much for your time, compassion, and consideration for Carly Marie.
Hello! Thank you so much for getting back to me so quickly! Carly does very well with other dogs and enjoys playful, well-balanced chase games with several of our other dogs. She’s also great at communicating her boundaries and will gently let other dogs know when she’s ready for a break from playtime. At this time, we haven’t had the opportunity to see how she does with cats.
