When extreme conservative politicians like Lieutenant Gov. (whats-his-name) lie, fear-monger, and rally HIS extreme base...it hurts the citizens! Call me a snowflake (I don't care!) to cry for my disenfranchised and oppressed neighbors.
This banner WAS deployed in the senate galley. Acrylic paint on gauze. Sadly, it was confiscated and our Patriot of Democracy led out by security.

The Establishment Clause prohibits the U.S. government from preferring or prohibiting any religion. Any. Religion. Or NONE, yet too many elected representatives ignore this truth! I crafted an acrylic painted banner to remind TX Ledge of this truth in the Texas senate gallery.
Unfortunately, it was detected by security upon entry & confiscated.
