Austin Gay Basketball League (AGBL) The Austin Gay Basketball League (AGBL) is Austin's first and only gay-affiliated basketball league. The AGBL is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Our mission is to offer the Central Texas le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) community, and our straight allies, the opportunity to experience and enjoy recreational basketball in a competitive, inclusive, and affirming environment. The AGBL was created to provide a welcoming environment to all le***an, gay, bisexual, and transgender people who are interested in playing basketball, buildin

g friendships, and giving back to Austin's community. AGBL promotes an athletic environment free of discrimination. LGBT-friendly basketball players are encouraged to come out and join us as well.
