Whether or not you are an AI aficionado, TIEC has a short survey about how your use of artificial intelligence can impact how you decide to treat the symptoms of personal illness. Funded by the Department of State’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, TIEC’s Uniting for Health initiative — a program focused on creating healthcare links between healthcare faculty and practitioners in the U.S. and several nations in the Middle East — is seeking responses to the 3 question survey linked below to help guide our multinational working group.

TIEC’s Deneyse A. Kirkpatrick and Senior Director of Global Programs Steven Kroman had wonderful visits with colleagues at American University in the Emirates (AUE), Amideast/UAE, Ajman University, and AmCham Abu Dhabi. A special thank you to the U.S. Embassy in Dubai (USAinUAE) for hosting TIEC’s kickoff to the trip.

We’re grateful for the warm welcome and energized by the opportunity to continue building connections and advancing global education partnerships.

Last week, TIEC President & CEO Deneyse A. Kirkpatrick participated in the panel “Sports for Development: The Transformative Power of the Field” at Beyond the Game: The New Frontiers of Sports Diplomacy, an inspiring event hosted by the Atlantic Council.

She joined Todd Smith, President & CEO of the The Sports & Fitness Industry Association - SFIA, and Jason M. Levien, Co-Chairman & CEO of D.C. United, with the session moderated by Travis J. Murphy, Founder & CEO of Jetr Global Sports + Entertainment.

After the panel, Deneyse spoke with Major League Soccer (MLS) Commissioner Donald P. Garber during an especially significant week for the global game, with the FIFA World Cup draw scheduled for the following day in Washington, DC.

This event offered an important platform to highlight the critical role higher education institutions play in developing talent pipelines for the sports industry while also promoting the strengths of TIEC's Texas membership.
