Congratulations to our longtime partner Mobile Loaves & Fishes on the opening of their new support services center, made possible with support from Glimmer Austin! We were proud to join this morning’s naming celebration and recognize their continued commitment to providing homes, services, and a sense of belonging for community members.

For more than 10 years, American YouthWorks has partnered with Mobile Loaves & Fishes, constructing over 50 homes at Community First! Village. Through this work, young people build construction skills while helping create a place others can call home.

We’re proud to celebrate this milestone alongside our partners at Mobile Loaves & Fishes and Glimmer | Austin as they expand access to services that help community members build stability and thrive!

With Heartfelt Gratitude 💜

Our hearts are full following an unforgettable evening at Antone’s! To our generous event sponsors, silent auction donors, community partners, and everyone who joined us in support of American YouthWorks, thank you. Your generosity and belief in our mission made this special evening possible, and we are deeply grateful for your support. We were especially honored to recognize Susan Antone with a special award celebrating her extraordinary legacy of support for American YouthWorks and the young people we serve, carrying on the legacy of Clifford Antone. The evening was made even more memorable by amazing intimate performances from Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Ray Benson, and we were proud to celebrate our two Delta Millworks scholarship recipients as they take the next steps toward their goals and futures.

At a time when young people are facing more challenges and uncertainty on the path to education, employment, and economic opportunity, your support matters more than ever and we are so grateful. American YouthWorks will continue to provide education, career training, supportive services, and pathways to meaningful futures. Most importantly, everything we do comes back to the incredible youth and young adults we serve, who are building brighter futures for themselves while making a meaningful difference throughout communities every day.

A sincere thank you for your support.
Together, we create opportunities to grow & serve. 💛

Happy 110th Birthday National Park Service!

“110 years ago, America had a pretty good idea: protect some of its most extraordinary places so all could enjoy them for generations to come. On August 25, 1916, President Woodrow Wilson signed the act creating the National Park Service. Since then, parks have connected us to the landscapes, stories, and people that have shaped the nation, from towering mountains and wild rivers to battlefields, historic spaces, and sacred places.” - NPS

It’s an honor to do conservation work at Big Bend, Big Thicket, Novillo Line Camp, Jean Laffitte, San Antonio Missions + more NPS sites! Adding to the NPS commitment to preserve and protect these lands for future generations.

As we gear up for our Celebration of Impact & Opportunity on August 26, we want to pause and say:

Thank you.

Thank you to the incredible sponsors and supporters who are now part of our inaugural AYW Grow & Serve Fund. Because of you, young people are earning diplomas. Building careers. Restoring land. Responding to disasters. And building brighter futures for themselves and their families.

You are the reason AYW has been able to serve young people for more than 50 years. Your belief in our mission makes everything we do possible.
