As he begins his term as 2025–2026 HFTP Global President, James “Jim” Bina reflects on his remarkable 42-year journey with HFTP, which is built on mentorship, community, and an enduring belief in hospitality leadership.

From his early days as a member encouraged by mentors Steve and Marilyn Ward, to over three decades of service at Rosen Hotels & Resorts, Jim shares the people, values, and vision that shaped his path to this moment.
