Hand to Hold is dedicated to providing early intervention mental health support before, during, & after a NICU stay, at no cost to families-English & Spanish.

Handle to Hold® is a national nonprofit that provides personalized emotional support, educational resources and community before, during and after a NICU stay. When babies need the specialized medical attention of a NICU, it is emotionally traumatic to the parent and disruptive to traditional parent-baby bonding. Support is provided to parents at no cost to NICU or bereaved families and all suppor

Calling all NICU grandparents! Avid Noble’s introduction to Hand to Hold came first as a third-party vendor, helping a friend of a friend. A few years later, it was Avid reaching out to Hand to Hold for help when his first grandbaby was in the NICU.

Some partnerships begin with a sponsorship. This one began with a relationship. 💚

For nearly 20 years, Turner Construction has been connected to Hand to Hold through one woman’s passion for giving back. From leading fundraisers and volunteer opportunities to building meaningful relationships within our community, that impact continued to grow year after year.

In 2023, after receiving the Women in Construction Woman of the Year award, she invited Hand to Hold to a Turner luncheon, opening the door to new connections, shared purpose, and a partnership that continues to make a difference for NICU families today.

Since then, Turner has helped support the NICU Family Celebration and NICU Grad Reunion, helping families feel seen, supported, and cared for during some of life’s most challenging moments.

Because sometimes the smallest acts of kindness create the biggest ripple effects. ✨

Everything was normal, until it wasn’t. Lucas Manring’s first baby was born via emergency c-section at 25 weeks, and he found himself plunged into fatherhood faster than he imagined.
