Today kicks off Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month! The Amputee Coalition has compiled a comprehensive list of ways to get involved, celebrate people living with limb loss and limb difference, and raise awareness for the issues they face.

Happy Holidays Everyone‼️ We are having a semi-pot luck dinner to celebrate the holidays🎅🌲

So far, we have ham, snickerdoodle cupcakes, a vegetable casserole, rolls, and a vegetable tray with dip, and water and ice tea for drinks.

This is the last reminder.
As always, it is not mandatory to bring anything. We just want people to come and have a good time.

Please RSVP so we know how to plan.
We are meeting in the cafe room next to where we usually meet.

We hope you are ready for a great meeting! This month is going to be extra special!

We are featuring our friends, Gayle Perkins, Kathryn McGowan, Mary Kurlowitz, and Larry Hovey. Having had amputations and/or revisions over the last month or so, we thought it would be nice to let them know we care!
Jonse is cooking his delicious chicken wings, and we will have other dishes and snacks. (It is not required to bring an item). We will have plenty of water.

Please dress up for Halloween if you would like to tomorrow! 🎃

It’s time for our Support Group Meeting!!

Tuesday August 22nd

6:00-8:00 p.m.

Central Texas Rehab 700 W. 45TH St.

Please come and join us for a great night out with your amputee friends and others!!

We’ve got some new members and we’re growing slowly but surely.

It’s been a little hot, as you know, to do too much outside this summer.

We will get back to having some activities outside of the meeting this fall.

In September, we will have another speaker.

We are having a Thundercloud sandwich tray for a snack. If you want to bring some chips or anything to add, that would be great. We will have plenty of drinks.

Jo and I really hope you can make it! We always have a good time. Lots of discussion and of course plenty of laughing😐
