DAWA means 'medicine' in Swahili. We believe that medicine encompasses more than just pills.

We believe medicine can also be meeting people with practical, immediate resources that can bridge the gap when they are in crisis.

Here are some organizations centering care and empowerment for Austin's immigrant community in their work. Community is our greatest technology to combat the harm that systems of incarceration and deportation inflict on our community. 🫂

We Thank You. We all deserve safety and healing, regardless of our immigration status. HEALING AINT A LUXURY! ✊🏽

Please save, share, and donate to these community resources, and tag other organizations empowering Austin's immigrant community.

We See You.
Your Light Gives Us Courage. ✨
