To celebrate the history and importance of Pease Elementary School, seeds from
Pease's grand champion heritage oak tree will be collected, grown and
distributed to Pease's students, alumni, parents, and staff. Goal: To celebrate the history and importance
of Pease Elementary School, seeds from
Pease's grand champion heritage oak tree (the Cupcake Tree) will
be collected, propagated into saplings,
and
distributed to Pease's final roster of students,
alumni, parents, and staff. Deliverable: TreeFolks will coordinate a two yearlong
program to collect ~1,000 seeds from
Pease's heritage oak tree, grow them at the
TreeFolks ranch, and distribute them to
community members at a celebration event
during the following tree planting seasons. For more information on how to donate to this program visit www.Treefolks.org/give and on the donation page under "what inspired you to give today" option, select "a piece of pease".
