As comes to a close, let’s end with gratitude for everyone who chooses to share their time and talent with Central Texas through national service. A stronger Central Texas and a stronger nation really does start with each of YOU!

This , we’re celebrating the AmeriCorps members and AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers serving in communities nationwide.

From tutoring students and supporting veterans to responding to disasters and helping nonprofits expand their reach, AmeriCorps members and AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers strengthen communities while tackling pressing local challenges.

That impact is why continues to earn broad bipartisan congressional support. Leaders from both parties recognize the value of service and are working to ensure AmeriCorps remains strong for the communities that depend on it.

We’re almost half way through Week! A stronger Central Texas starts with AmeriCorps and you!

New Politics Academy has been such an ACT friend and supporter, and their programming is directed at individuals who have served our country through AmeriCorps or military service. Is it time for you to "answer the call"?

You’ve already answered the call to serve. If you’re considering politics as your next chapter, you’re in the right place.

Answering the Call is a nonpartisan program where servant leaders pause, reflect, and decide whether running for office is their next act of service. Guided by experienced facilitators and in community with other service-driven leaders, participants do the inner work before stepping into politics.

Our country needs leaders rooted in courage, character, and commitment to something bigger than themselves. If that’s stirring in you, don’t ignore it.
