DRC has served Austin (and beyond) since 1983.

Austin looks very different now than it did then. The population has more than tripled, the courts stay busier, and the conflicts we see are more complicated.

Over these 40 years, we're proudest of the relationships we've built along the way, with the courts, with our partners, with this community, that make our work possible every single day.

Two siblings inherited the business their parents built over 30 years. One wants to sell. One wants to keep it going. They'd stopped trusting each other's motives, and arguments that started at board meetings were showing up at Sunday dinner too.

That's where mediation helps. It gives people space to work through the relationship before they try to work through the deal.
