Last weekend, members of our Youth Ambassador Council conducted Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) listening sessions in both Austin and Houston.

Through their intentional engagement and leadership, we heard from over 30 high school girls about the issues that matter most to them. We’ll use these insights to build our policy platform as we gear up for the next legislative session!

📸 30 Days, 30 Ways: Day 29 — Radiant G Summit Recap

On April 24th, we held our statewide Radiant G Summit! ✨ At Summit, adults and teens had the opportunity to unite intergenerationally to build community, share knowledge, and remind themselves that they are unstoppable! 🌟

A big THANK YOU to everyone who attended and made this amazing day possible! 💜 We are so thankful for the wonderful community each and every one of you help build. 🫂

For 30 years, Girls Empowerment Network has been creating spaces exactly like Radiant G Summit, helping girls build confidence, develop healthy relationships, and believe in their own power.
Since 1996, Girls Empowerment Network has reached over 117,000 girls statewide, a milestone made possible by dedicated staff, volunteers, and partners who show up consistently for girls. At a time when the data tells us girls are struggling, this work is more critical than ever. Building a stronger future for Texas starts with investing in the girls who will lead it. ✨💜 Help us reach our goal. (link in bio)

🎙️ Day #23 – Champion Language Access

As we celebrate , we’re reflecting on the needs of our community and the girls we impact.
With 49% of the girls we serve identifying as Latina, we understand the importance of bilingual programming + translations services to create a safe & inclusive environment where youth can feel seen and heard. 🫂🌟

With the rise of anti-immigrant rhetoric and fear of family separation within communities, it’s important to help everyone feel supported, safe, and unstoppable. 💜 Check out the Know Your Rights resources in our bio for more information.

📱Day #22: Tag someone from your top 8

This we’re reflecting on all the incredible humans in the Girls Empowerment Network universe who support, lead, and collaborate with us to ignite the power in girls.
For today’s throwback-inspired way to support, we pulled some fun data from our CRM (including our amazing volunteers, staff, donors, board members, and community!) and discovered that some names just keep popping up 👀

We’ve had PHENOMENAL supporters over the years, and some names rise to the top… Are YOU in our Top 8?!
👑 Shoutout to our #1 most frequent name: Jennifer / Jenna / Jen — we see you and we appreciate you!!

Now it’s your turn: tag someone who would’ve made your Myspace Top 8 in the comments. Show some love to your ride-or-die, your hype person, your fellow world-changer. Every tag, every comment, every connection celebrates the community that keeps this work going. You help make our world go ‘round 🌎💜
