A special thank you to Club Leader de Demain Cap-Haïtien (LDD/C-H) for inviting AKOUNOUKA to share life-saving training with the community of St. Raphaël, Haiti! Thank you for opening the door and helping us create another opportunity for people to learn a skill that can mean the difference between life and death.

We believe everyone should have the opportunity to learn how to help save a life—and we will continue working toward a Haiti where CPR knowledge is within reach of everyone.

This week, AKOUNOUKA had the privilege of providing FREE CPR training to the MEREMAP church in Labadie, Haiti. Children, youth, and adults came together to learn how to save a life. The skills learned in that training session may one day save a parent, a child, a friend, a neighbor, or a fellow church member.

This week, AKOUNOUKA trained more than 30 athletes in life-saving CPR skills, empowering them to become advocates for emergency response and cardiac arrest awareness within Haiti's sports community.

Every practice, every game, and every tournament bring together hundreds of athletes, coaches, families, and fans. When a cardiac emergency occurs, the first few minutes can mean the difference between life and death. By equipping athletes with CPR knowledge, we are building a culture where teammates are prepared to help teammates.

Today's athletes are tomorrow's coaches, mentors, and community leaders. By spreading CPR knowledge throughout Haiti's sporting community, CPR awareness is replacing a dangerous knowledge gap that has too often contributed to preventable deaths. Every person trained represents another opportunity for a life to be saved.

AKOUNOUKA had the privilege of partnering with Bethesda Medical Center to provide FREE CPR training to both patients and staff.

When a cardiac arrest, drowning, choking emergency, or medical crisis occurs, the first few minutes can mean the difference between life and death. By equipping healthcare workers, patients, and community members with lifesaving CPR skills, we are strengthening the chain of survival and empowering ordinary people to become first responders for their families, neighbors, and communities.

Every person trained represents another potential life saved.

We are grateful to the leadership and staff of Bethesda Medical Center for welcoming our team and sharing in the vision of making lifesaving knowledge accessible to everyone. Together, we are building a Haiti where CPR is not just something seen in movies—it is a skill that belongs to every community.
