At Hounds of Hope Shelter, we rescue dogs who have been abandoned, abused, and neglected. Many arrive sick, injured, and in urgent need of medical care.

We are raising $10,000 to help cover emergency vet bills, medications, surgeries, food, and lifesaving treatment for our rescue dogs. Every donation, no matter the size, helps give these innocent animals a second chance at life.

I'm very seasoned on who is a stray and who is running the streets .. there aren't homeless people by me, I live in a small area in the country.. there are people who allow their dogs to roam around, especially if they are strays and they take care of them but in this situation, he was there all day because the winds were super bad and it was storming so before you open your mouth to say something understand when you come on my page I know what I am talking about. You figure out what you are talking about though. I will continue to keep helping, posting every time I see a lost dog on my neighborhood app and feeding whoever I see out there. I have literally given clothes from my closet to put over dogs who are out in the cold. And help rehome.

Sweet Teddy🥹🐻- The dog who stole my heart.
Teddy arrived to the shelter in heartbreaking conditions and he isn't typically the type of dog people are lining up to adopt, but something told us we have to save him. His story is a reminder of why we do this - because dogs like Teddy are so deserving. His eyes are caked in discharge, his skin is raw and irritated, and he has heartworms.
