This is a photo of Duncan, the wonderful cat in whose memory Tuxedo Junction Rescue was founded.
We are sharing this picture as we say goodbye. We began our rescue work in 2002, and with the passing of all but one of the remaining cats in our sanctuary, we are now bringing this adventure to a close.
Thanks for sharing the ride with us! We are especially grateful to: our volunteers, who helped in many ways and came to know and love many of the kitties who passed through our doors; our donors, without whom our work would not have been possible; and to our adopters, who made it all worthwhile and incredibly gratifying. We truly appreciate all of you!
We will leave our page up through the end of the year, in case anyone would like to share thoughts, pictures or memories. And we hope those who supported us will direct their generosity to other shelters and rescue groups who continue the work of saving precious lives.
