Welcome To The Texas 150

The purpose of the Texas 150 is simple, to come to the aid of Texans in need. Texans never forsake Texans!

This pandemic has hit Texans hard...some harder than others. Over the last few weeks, I have heard a lot of stories from people that are hurting and need help. However, when I spoke to my friend Tod Marvin who is the CEO of Easterseals Texas...I knew I had to do something.

For those that don't know Easterseals it is an incredible organization that has been serving our disabled community for 100 years. When the shelter in place order hit it was devastating to the thousands of disabled Texans who depend on their care and services every day.

When I heard of the problems that hit Easterseals I thought to myself...ok we got hit with a huge problem...we can not abandon the most vulnerable people in our communities. We have to find a way to help. What Easterseals does for our disabled is just too important!

The Texas 150 will be hosting a live stream event on June 24th with a great group of sports stars and celebrities who LOVE Texas! 100% of all proceeds raised will go directly to Easterseals.

Texas 150

We live in unprecedented times. The impact of COVID-19 has hit Texas far and wide. This pandemic has touched every aspect of our way of life and like all tragic events, some of us feel the pressure and hardship far greater than others. Over the last month, a group of us Texans got together and decided to do something about it and not just sit idly by as our friends and neighbors...our fellow Texans are in desperate need.

The Texas 150 was inspired by the brave and fearless warriors who stood against impossible odds at the Alamo. Those brave 150 men faced an Army of more than 4000 troops to fight for the independence and rights of all Texans.

The heroic stand by just 150 Texas rebels gave birth to the battle cry, “remember the Alamo” for the Texas revolution, and it still echoes throughout Texas today when tough times arrive at our doorstep.

Today, in the spirit of those brave souls, the Texas 150 is born and driven by the same spirit and intent of the brave warriors at the Alamo.

We are Texans comprised of your neighbors and fellow residents who are dedicated to coming to aid of those in need. We rally when needed and when we are called on to make sure no Texan is in need.

Throughout our history, Texas has seen our share of the most challenging of times and we have never been known to give up or quit.

The Texas 150 is an organization created to bring together the best Texas has to offer…our citizens and residents to provide aid and financial resources to those in need. We are comprised of individuals and company’s who are all dedicated to the cause and call of Texans helping Texans.

Our membership is open to everyone and anyone who desires to make a change and show their Texas pride and willingness to help. From world-famous athletes and celebrities to community advocates and your neighbors, The Texas 150 invites all to become involved and lend a hand to those who need our help.

In the coming days, we will be announcing the first opportunity for Texans to stand up and be counted as part of the Texas 150. We encourage you to sign up on our website and follow our page to make sure you are informed and ready to come to the aid of our fellow Texans.
