Hey guys! Thanks so much for coming out tonight! I would like to apologize for the lengthy meeting; we just had a lot of information to cover for the first meeting. The rest of the meetings we will try to finish by 6:25 or 6:30 and the speaker will then cover the rest of the time. Anyways, here is a quick summary of important things we talked about tonight:
1) MEETINGS ARE EVERY TWO WEEKS FROM 6-7 PM.
09/23/13: CLA 0.128
10/07/13: CLA 0.128
10/21/13: CLA 0.112
11/04/13: CLA 0.112
11/18/13: CLA 0.112
2) Dues need to be paid by the 3rd meeting; $30 for the semester or $40 if you want to pay for the whole year!
3) REQUIREMENTS:
Meetings: 3 out of 5
Fundraising: 2 events (ONE USHERING SHIFT COMPLETES THIS!!)
Social: 2 events
Volunteering: 4 points (2 hours= 1 point; >2 hours=2 points)
4) Extra Credit:
Wear PA shirt 4 times= 1 point
Outside Volunteering up to 1 point
If you attended TAPA, you get 1 point!
5) Shadowing:
CTPA PA Shadowing Coordinator: Send an email as early as you can to the following gmail account requesting shadowing opportunities and hopefully they can match you up with a PA! [email protected]
6) Banquet- Free fancy dinner in the Spring if you meet all the requirements!
7) We will have new and old t-shirts for sale by the next meeting! Pictures are in the power point below

Coping with the Cost of Cancer- This one is on Wednesday from 6-7:30 PM; 4 spots available. The address is 4101 James Cassey - Suite 200.

There are plenty plenty of volunteer events, and all of them will be posted on our website orgsync with sign-up forms! Also, I have omitted several details, so if you want to know concrete details like date & time, you can look at the power point below :) Don't worry you will be getting a heads-up on most (if not all) of these events.

1/2 pt for baking, 1/2 pt for 1 shift

One ushering shift= 2 points
Two ushering shifts= Free shirt and we will give you back your dues you paid for the semester!
