Safe housing and a supportive community create the foundation people need to thrive. Our continuum of care approach is embedded in the architecture of the building, from in-house case management offices on the first floor, to a primary and mental health care clinic only one mile away. We are proud to join our community partners in expanding opportunities for our neighbors and strengthening the health of Travis County."

Austin Housing and the Austin Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) celebrate the opening of Seabrook Square II, a new 60-unit, fully furnished permanent supportive housing (PSH) community located in District 1 at 2210 Pershing Drive.

Mobile Food Pantry

10-1130 am @ Gus Garcia, 1201 E Rundberg

*--Line up to park after 8:30 am. Please Stay in your cars.
*--Volunteers will circulate with registration sheets.
*--Food will be loaded for you. Be sure there is room for 40-50 pounds of food in your trunk or back seat.
*--You may pickup for an additional 2 families by filling out their information on the forms.
*--A table will be available for walk up clients without cars at 10 am and around 10:45 am. Limited seating is Available.
*--Bring your own bags, wagons, crates for the food
*--CapMetro van riders ask for 9:30 drop off.

National Weather Service Notice: Heat Advisory in effect from July 22, 12:00 PM CDT until July 22, 08:00 PM CDT

When a Heat Advisory is issued:
A Heat Advisory is issued by National Weather Service if:

Heat Index expected to get to 112 or over
Actual heat temp expected to get to 103 or over
Heat Advisory Thresholds do vary by geographic location, even within Texas

Downtown Heat Resources:

*SOW Hub is open (old Oasis in parking lot behind ARCH) is open M-F 9 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Water, shade and fans
*ARCH first floor inside serving as a cooling center 7 days a week, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
*Trinity Center extended hours M-Th open until 7:00 p.m. for cooling/showers/water.

Most City Libraries are open until 8:00 p.m. today and available.
