While we are based in Austin, we harness the relationships we have built over time with various outstanding and collaborative organisations in South Africa. These accredited and distinguished NPOs make it possible for us to shine a spotlight on their important causes - whatever your personal interest is. We have identified partners we can work with proactively, to make sure your donation makes the biggest impact possible in the neediest communities. We understand that not everyone has the same passion for the same cause, so we have curated a list of partners for different outreach causes. The bottom line is that we want to help people who we see are in critical need. Because of COVID, this need has increased at an alarming rate, and South Africa has a special place in our hearts. A great deal of our projects are in Nelson Mandela Bay - Nelson Mandela's home province. We have various goals (all identified more in-depth on our website) but right now, our biggest goal is to build a drama hall at a school for township kids in Nelson Mandela Bay. The drama hall will be a place for the kids to perform prose, drama, end-of-year plays, as well as enjoy arts and crafts. The overall estimated cost of this is: $65,000. We plan to raise this through various marketing strategies online and in-print in our local area. We find that videos and video promotions on Facebook have been very effective. Our fully functional and intuitive website uses Stripe (a secure and verified checkout service) so your donation is safe and secure. Our office is in Austin, Texas, and for security purposes will not be made public. COVID has allowed us to hold meetings virtually, and the internet is a useful tool in our report backs to donors who are excited to see how their money has helped. We have a YouTube Channel and and Instagram, and we use Facebook to build a loving community and raise awareness. Our subscribers love to see our videos and photos, and share our content with their friends who want to help those in need.
