From August 1st-August 12th, at The Esports Cave in the greater Austin area, we will be holding our very first summer camp!!

The Art Chops x Lantana Games Youth Summer Camp is an educational esports camp using Mondrian - Plastic Reality, the ultimate creative platform where students play, create, and compete in time-tripping brickbreaking adventures through art history.

With an emphasis on supporting neuro-diverse students, players will learn art and technical skills to create levels over the course of 2 weeks, and for the final day, participate in a professional esports-style event, competing on their personally built levels and casting the finale event livestream. This will kickstart their art and technical portfolios. Students will then be paired with a mentor after the camp is over to help them pursue their newfound interests.

Education in America is under hot fire right now, both physically and mentally, and is draining all life, creativity, and passion out of our students, their families, and even teachers. We recognize the issues in our current system and want to implement a better one so we can lead our future generations in the right direction.

As our site mentions, we intend to activate evolutionary growth through transformation, adaptability, creativity & mental development across multiple industries & ages. We plan to do that via Web3, VR/AR technology, mentorship, and a gamified curriculum.

That being said, we want to really nail down the gamified curriculum to give students their best chances of success. We want to make sure we have an understanding of every perspective we can garner to stay fair and reputable to our students, so we need your help! On July 11th, at 5:00 PM CT, we will be hosting a stage on Discord to listen to any feedback, advice, or ideas on our developing curriculum.

If you are a teacher, mentor, entrepreneur, or leader of any kind, and/or are passionate about the educational space, come on by and feel free to bring others along, as we need all the feedback we can get for these students!
