Like a dog lying in the sun, the natural mammalian state, free of stress, is happiness.
Somewhere along the line, we observed adults who chose to be unhappy in certain moments. They learned to place conditions on happiness. In these moments, it is appropriate to be happy. In these moments, it is not.
We then formed beliefs about how to be happy. The way to be happy is to meet these conditions, like money, a house, a wife, a purposeful career, and so on.
Because we stopped the flow of happiness as the default state and created conditions upon which it can be felt, we also created strategies of doing the things that would fulfill the conditions we created, and then we finally allow the happiness.
But it was there all along. It truly is the default mammalian state, and we can choose every moment, right now reading this, to relax into that. We can even choose to experience happiness in spite of the fact that we also have anxieties, pains, unhealed parts of ourselves. We can simultaneously be aware that there are things we are choosing to heal deeper, and also begin now, and choose happiness, now.
Because the moment is healing truly is when those parts of us forgot that choice, and remember once more, that they can choose happiness. At that moment, healing has occurred. It truly can be that simple.
And so, what better way to embody on the path to healing, than to choose happiness, now? And the way to choose it, is to recognize that it is the default state, that does not require effort, intentional gratitude, or anything else.
If it is the case that we donāt feel it to the degree that we want in this moment, we can choose, truly, to be happy with the amount of it we are experiencing in this moment. And instantly, we have more of it. We have that power. We truly have the power of our own happiness. It doesnāt require illusion or even focusing on the positive things in our life. It simply requires recognizing that it is already there beneath our pain and our disassociated numbness, and then, choosing from its unlimited wellspring, to be happy in spite of all the pain. From there, we can focus on healing the pain, and how much more effective we will be at healing pain, from a place of happiness.
It is not always a feeling, it can simply be a perspective, a chosen position internally. It comes from recognizing truly that itās already here, and accepting that anything else in the body is a part of us that forgot that itās always here. From this unconditional perspective, we can help all parts of us make the choice again, to be happy.
From there, we can decide what weād like to do in our life. We do not need to have a mission, a purpose, a path, a chosen meaning, any of it. We can simply be happy, and then ask ourselves what weād like to do with that.
For me, Iād like to drown deeper and deeper and deeper into the kingdom of happiness that can flow within my own body, and when I allow myself to relax fully into that, I feel a happy, glorious desire to help everyone else make the same choice, and to celebrate together the extraordinary, exquisite experience of happiness that flows through our every cell.
I sincerely believe I have found ways to communicate with all parts of the Self deep in the body and subconscious mind, to help them remember the choice to be happy, forever. That way, itās not just a conscious effort to choose, but it becomes a way of being, automatic, easy, and simple. No meditations, no anything. Itās just the hum of happiness, forever.
I didnāt start this writing as an advertisement, with any intention of sharing my latest offer, it truly has been an organic post of happiness, shared fully in excitement from that place.

The process is extremely relaxing, and people in real time experiencing deepening happiness and peace, throughout the session.
I used to do this in 12 week programs for an hour a week, on Zoom. I donāt want to do that anymore. Now, I will fly to you, or you will fly to me, and we will sit in person and employ these absolutely remarkable method of healing for an entire day, and nothing will ever be the same.
