Oxford House Austin Alumni This is where all the action is! The mission and purpose of OHATX Alumni Association is to assist former Oxford House residents in maintaining quality recovery.

If you are a former resident of Oxford House and are interested in joining our Alumni Association or just getting plugged into what we have going on, please search for the FB group "OHATX Alumni Group" and request to join. We do so by offering continuous support and presenting opportunities to serve and enrich the local Oxford House network in accordance to Oxford House tradition nine. Our Vision

is to share our experience, strength, and hope with new Oxford House residents and alumni to ensure a healthy recovery for individuals. To conduct fundraising events, promote recovery through training, raise money to send residents and alumni to the Oxford House World Convention, and to scholarship newcomers move-in fees through our Wetherbee Foundation.

We couldn’t do it without you!

The Oxford House is a self-run, self-supported home for individuals in recovery from a substance use. It provides a community-based, supportive, and sober living environment. The Oxford House Model is a democratic approach to addiction recovery, where members share responsibilities and support each other in a drug and alcohol-free environment. The Oxford House Model has been recognized for its effectiveness in fostering recovery and has become a national self-help movement.
