Mental Health Awareness Month ends this week. But taking care of our mental health doesn’t follow a calendar.

Humans are amazing and complex. We can hold so many things at once. Joy and grief. Hope and exhaustion. Pride and fear. Sometimes all before lunch.

As we move into June we are not leaving any of that behind. We carry it with us. We carry each other. Good days and bad. All year. Every day.

24 May is Pansexual and Panromantic Awareness and Visibility Day.

Pansexual means attracted to people regardless of gender. Panromantic means romantically (not sexually) attracted to people regardless of gender. Not confused. Not greedy. Not going through a phase.

And here’s the thing. Visibility matters even inside our own community. Pan folks shouldn’t have to shrink or explain themselves to anyone, in any space.
