📚Texas is rewriting what students learn, and your voice can shape it. The State Board of Education wants to hear from you! If you’re a student, parent, or community member, use our toolkit to tell the SBOE to include the Hart-Celler Act into our TEKS.

Imagine playing Mahjong… but a tile is missing. The game can continue, but someone is will lose. That’s what our curriculum looks like when Asian American history is erased from Texas classrooms.

When Asian Texan stories are excluded, students are denied the full picture of our history, our communities, and our contributions. And when institutions fail to include us, it sends a message about who belongs in the narrative — and who doesn’t.

Asian Texans deserve to be seen, taught, and remembered. Our students deserve a complete set. Every story matters. Every student matters. Every tile matters.
