Hello Brothers and Sisters in Christ!

Stephen Ministry training begins this coming Sunday January 14th 2024 from 1:30 - 3:30pm at Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church in South Austin located at 5226 West William Cannon Dr. Austin, TX. 78749. Training will be offered in hybrid format which means you can join in-person or online, and it will last through April 14, 2024.

The Austin Stephen Ministry Leaders Alliance, your classes will be facilitated by Stephen Leaders from Dripping Springs United Methodist, Shepherd of The Hills Presbyterian, and Bethany Lutheran.

As part of Stephen Ministry Continuing Ed, Dripping Springs United Methodist Church invites you & yours to Griefshare Surviving the Holidays seminar which will be held at Dripping Springs UMC main building this coming December 4th from 1-3pm. The program includes a video (appox 45 min) with a discussion period to follow. There is a workbook for participants that will be handed out at the beginning of the session. The topic will be ministering to parents grieving the loss of a child – with a special focus on sudden loss - presented by Tisha Kolek, M.Ed./Director of SEL and Health Services, Dripping Springs ISD.
