Partnerships for Children Partnerships for Children (PFC) is dedicated to helping Child Protective Services (CPS) caseworkers

As a nonprofit in Central Texas, Partnerships For Children leads a collection of programs that offer resources, support and comfort for foster children and families in our community. Our accessibility to Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, efficient practices and ability to connect with kids at all stages in their lives allow us to better serve those who need us most by providing real and impactful solutions.

The Learning Bridge is a local nonprofit that provides tutors to children in foster care, giving them the extra support they need to succeed in school and feel confident in their learning.

For children in foster care, having a consistent and encouraging person in their life can make a huge difference. We’re so grateful for organizations like The Learning Bridge that show up for kids and help them know they’re capable of many awesome things! 📚

Meet Elijah, Denaza, & Dianica, a fun sibling trio who love being together!

Elijah, 13, Denaza, 9, and Dianica, 8, share a special bond and are always laughing, joking, singing, and dancing together. They love staying busy and enjoy everything from sports and swimming to video games, roller skating, amusement parks, and exploring new places.

They also have a long list of things they hope to do with a forever family, including bowling, fishing, shopping, going to arcades, and having movie nights together. One thing they especially want to try is Go-Kart racing!

Most of all, they hope to find a forever family who will keep them together and make lots of memories with them!

Big impact starts with small acts of service. 💙

Thank you to HomeAid Austin’s Committee Care Day volunteers for helping make sure children entering foster care have access to the essentials they need. From bundling wipes and organizing bins to sorting clothing and donations, every task makes a difference. As Kim from HomeAid shared, “While some of the tasks we tackled may have seemed small, each one plays an important role” in supporting children and advancing our mission. 🫶

Meet Riley, a 9-year old boy with a big heart and big dreams!

Riley is a friendly, kind, and outgoing child who loves making new friends and connecting with the people around him. He enjoys building with Legos, playing pretend, and exploring at the park. Riley is also very active and loves basketball and soccer. As he gets older, he dreams of playing football!

One of Riley’s favorite places to be is the kitchen. He especially loves making hamburger sliders and dreams of owning his own restaurant someday. He loves cooking because feeding others is important to him and he enjoys helping people be healthy and strong.

Riley is hopeful that one day he will have a forever family of his own. He dreams of swimming together, going on vacations to Arkansas, and playing video games as a family.
