Our board spent today being educated on how to better support our youth. This included hearing from doctors, service team members and hearing from a former youth who shared his lived experience. This education helps to ensure we are doing the best we can to set up our youth for success!

The participants in our SOAR Program are the gift that keeps on giving. Yesterday we celebrated another participant for graduating from our program. The team that worked with them described them as "greatness," and we couldn't agree more!

Our youth continue to amaze us! Yesterday we had the privilege of celebrating another successful graduate of our program. This graduate made the most out of the "SOAR" program. Not only is he is on track to get his GED, but he has maintained employment throughout his time with us. An essential part of our program is giving back to the community. To graduate from the program, each participant identifies and executes a community service project. For example, our graduate from yesterday bought socks, toiletries, water, and snacks and created care packages to give to several community members experiencing homelessness. We appreciate all of his hard work and will miss working with him and his family!

Today one of our SOAR participants graduated and completed our program. This is a huge milestone because it is an example of a child who has overcome adversity and uses the tools provided to them to have a positive and fresh start. Here is a little information on what she has accomplished.

Last week, this organization received great news! We are happy to share that Kalahari Resorts donated 238 hotel-grade pillows to Life Reimagined. Our housing coordinator, transported the pillows to the Gardner Betts Annex and will ensure every youth we serve, can sleep in comfort. These pillows will also be available to youth on community probation via requests from the Juvenile Probation Officer.

Sometimes, the simple dignity of having a warm bed and comfortable pillow can make all the difference on the tough journey to a prosocial, productive lifestyles.
