CALLING ON THE VERDE NATION! 💚
We want to shine a light on an organization that's been doing the Lord's work right here in Austin for 40 years!
Casa Marianella is hosting its third annual Home Is Here benefit concert at Central Machine Works on Saturday, October 24th.
It's a free event and fundraiser supporting their Legal Services Clinic, and we'd love to see The Verde Family make our presence felt!
There's no shortage of passion in this community, especially about what's happening right now in our town. We'd love to see some of that energy put to work supporting the people on the front lines, and help them do something about it.
Since 1986, Casa Marianella has provided shelter, legal assistance, medical care, and a fresh start for thousands of refugees and asylum seekers.
Today, with ICE enforcement actions and increasingly difficult immigration policies creating fear and uncertainty, that work matters more than ever.
Their Legal Services Clinic provides free legal assistance to people navigating an increasingly difficult system, and Home Is Here is raising $100,000 to help keep those services available.
Here's a chance to turn our concern into something that makes a real difference.
We know Austin FC is away in Kansas City that night, and plenty of Verde faithful will be watching the match. If you can make it to Central Machine Works, fantastic. If you're watching elsewhere, spread the word. And wherever you are, consider throwing a few bucks toward a cause that could really use it.
