RGK Center for Philanthropy & Community Service

RGK Center for Philanthropy & Community Service http://www.rgkcenter.org The RGK Center was founded in January 2000 with an initial $5 million grant from the RGK Foundation.

The 'RGK' in our name refers to Mrs. Ronya and Dr. George Kozmetsky, founders of the RGK Foundation. Exciting things are happening all across the nonprofit sector today all around the world. Critical contributions to public problem solving are increasingly being made by nonprofit organizations in almost every field imaginable. We are constantly looking for ways to contribute to the growth and deve

lopment of the nonprofit sector. Our research addresses pressing issues in philanthropy, nonprofit management, social entrepreneurship, and global civil society. We train students through our university-wide graduate program in nonprofit studies and we engage the world of practice through executive programs tailored to the needs of seasoned professionals in the field. As you explore the RGK Center, you will see that our collective work, ranging from our social innovation competition to our international exchange programs to our new books and publications, is all focused on helping the nonprofit leaders of today and tomorrow make informed and innovative contributions to the public good.
