~Assist children with crafts (1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.)

~Sign-in table (12:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.) **This position is covered**

~Monitoring the room during the event (1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.)

~Cleaning (3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) Take down all decorations, organize & pack leftover craft supplies & toys, general cleaning, reset the room as we found it

Today, my son, Evan, & I delivered 10 "Heart Goodie Bags" to Texas Children's Hospital, in North Austin, for the inpatient cardiology families. We also met Dr. James Hoffman, & he took us on a tour of the hospital.

In addition, we delivered 15 "Heart Goodie Bags," and a MLH "Treasure Chest," to each of TCH's Cardiology Clinics.

That's a wrap on Heart Week!!

I delivered 60 "Heart Goodie Bags" & 50 Heart Cookies to Dell Children's Medical Center today to celebrate Heart Week!!
40 bags will be given out to all inpatient families, & 20 bags will be available for families in the Cardiology Clinic.

A great time was had by all today at our Mended Little Hearts of Austin Social & Heart Bag Stuffing Session. So many connections were made, & that warmed my heart! We stuffed 100 "Heart Bags" to be divided & delivered to Dell Children's Medical Center & Texas Children's Hospital-North Austin next week!! If you took pics, please share them.

Please bring your ideas & join with us to talk about upcoming social events in 2025.

Also, bring all types of small items to stuff into our "Heart Goodie Bags".
We will be making approximately 60 heart baggies for Dell Children's Medical Center & Clinics, and 40+ for TCH and Clinics. You can be reimbursed for any items you purchase for the heart bags...so please bring your receipts.
