Happy Summertime to Everyone!!

I planned our summer activities before I knew we would have construction going on in our house. Some of you know that my mom moved in with us a little over 2 years ago, and her room is so very small. So we are building out our garage to make a bigger space for her, and it will double as living quarters for our son (if needed) later. As construction goes, there have been many setbacks, so I need to cancel the pool party we originally had planned for July.

However, I'd like to pivot to doing "Heart Mom Night Outs" on a monthly basis. I will make a separate post about our upcoming Heart Mom Night Outs.

Additionally, I am also in need of HELP to continue to make this group the best it can be.

HELP! DO YOU HAVE SOCIAL MEDIA SKILLS?
I need a Social Media Coordinator. I am very "old school," when it comes to doing anything with Social Media. I don't have the current skill set needed to make things look interesting and engaging...especially to our younger crowd. I'll be 55 years old next month! And yes, I'm that old raising our nearly 15 year old Heart Warrior.

HELP! DO YOU LIKE TO COORDINATE EVENTS?
I need an Event Coordinator. If you enjoy logistics, planning events, and attending events that make our families smile, then this position is for you!

Jacki Olesky graciously volunteered to deliver 10 "Heart Goodie Bags" to Texas Children's Hospital North Austin & 29 bags split between 2 of their cardiology clinics on Feb. 6th.

We delivered 60 "Heart Goodie Bags" to Dell Children's Medical Center, on Feb. 5th, to celebrate Heart Week. 40 Bags are for cardiology inpatient families, & 20 will go to the cardiac clinic.
