BSA Crew 454 joined their Scouting Skills with Crew 336 this weekend to celebrate friendships formed during Powder Horn. We participated in a 4 day-3 night adventure in Hot Springs area, Arkansas. Day 1 was spent on the road and at Hot Springs National Park, with overnight camping at Ouachita Lake State Park. Day 2 had us in Ouachita National Forest hiking Little Blakey Trails System with an overnight primitive camping near a babbling brook. Day 3 ended back near the trailhead where we primitive camped for the night, wrapping up our 13.2 mile hiking adventure. Day 4 we packed things up and headed back to the city of Hot Spring for breakfast before heading home. So many amazing memories were made as well as plans for future adventures. It is such a joy bringing the two Crews together from Capitol Area Council and Longhorn Council, Boy Scouts of America. A special congratulations to Jonathan A for creating this memorable event for his Summit Award!
