🌵✨ Our 4th & 5th grade Student Ambassadors at Barbara Jordan didn't just celebrate Cinco de Mayo — they LED it. 🇲🇽

They taught their peers the history behind the holiday, and co-facilitated an activity about values — handing out handcrafted cactus cutouts with candy and written values, and giving prizes to students who matched one of their own. 🎉💛

We are so proud of these bold young leaders. Keep blooming! 🌵❤️

We were honored to be part of the GIFFORDS Texas Roadshow at the African American Youth Harvest Foundation here in Austin — joining community-based organizations and policy leaders in meaningful dialogue around violence prevention, public safety, and healing-centered solutions.

ATX Peace was proud to stand alongside partners like Jail to Jobs, advocating for the funding, prevention, and reentry support that restores individuals and strengthens families.

This is what building safer communities from the inside out looks like.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and leaned in. We’re committed to continuing this work — together.

Restoring culture. Rebuilding community. Cultivating healthier systems.

Campus Confidence at Travis High School was more than just free haircuts—it was about showing up for our youth in a real way 💈✨

The Life Anew staff, ATX Peace, Student Ambassadors, and the AMAZING barbers of 3 Kings Barbershop turned this day into something truly unforgettable.

Right before prom, students got fresh cuts, a boost of confidence, and a reminder that their community is behind them every step of the way. 🤝 Huge thank you to Travis High for opening your doors and allowing us to create something special on campus.

And it didn’t stop there—big shoutout to Joe Bland from Joe Bland Construction and Mrs. Lofton from the African American Youth Harvest Foundation for blessing students with raffle prizes like a laptop, smart watches, Bluetooth speakers, and more!! 🎁

This is what it looks like when a community comes together: love, support, and showing up for our youth. Always. ❤️🙌

We had a great time at the Travis County Resource Fair sharing about the work we’re doing in schools, communities, and institutions to support and guide young people. We connected with Probation Officers, Clinicians, and Attorneys to highlight how collaboration helps create better outcomes for youth.

We also had the opportunity to spotlight our Purpose Project Mentoring Program, which is helping young people find direction, build confidence, and step into their purpose.

Stronger partnerships = stronger futures. 💪
