As your community surveys your sidewalks with or without me, please see the attached City Sidewalk Replacement Criteria used by the City to evaluate sidewalks: https://www.aurora-il.org/documents/engineering/sidewalkreplacementcriteria.pdf. After reviewing the criteria, then please submit a request for evaluation to the Customer Call Service Line with me copied on your request with addresses of sidewalks so we may monitor your requests together as I have ability to add to City sidewalk work:

For those who reported the walkways over the Eola Road bridge (over the BNSF between Liberty and Indian Trail), they are the jurisdiction and responsibility of the DuPage County Department of Transportation. The concerns of large bumps for riders and walkers have been reported to them.

Variety the Children’s Charity of Illinois is pleased to be hosting another TWO free events this year for students with special needs in the Aurora area. Please distribute or post the attached flyer to your families and ask them to RSVP to [email protected] by Friday May 6th for the May 7th event or by Friday May 13th for the May 14th event. Rides, concessions and prizes are free for siblings as well!



Big thanks to Fantasy Amusements for making this annual event possible and Alderman Bugg for making sure the residents with special needs of Aurora are aware of this free community event.
