Donation Pickup Team ❤️

Today we want to shine a spotlight on the incredible volunteers who make up our Love Thy Neighbor Donation Pickup Team.

They are truly the backbone of this ministry—the faithful hands and feet that help keep the food bank running. Week after week, and often almost every day, they generously give their time, energy, and hearts to serve others.

Their commitment goes far beyond picking up donations. They are living out what it really means to love thy neighbor. Through every mile driven, every donation collected, and every act of service, they are making a tangible difference in the lives of families throughout our community.

What makes their dedication even more inspiring is the reason behind it all: a desire to share and display the love of Jesus. Their service is a reflection of Christ’s compassion, kindness, and care for others.

To our Love Thy Neighbor Donation Pickup Team—thank you for your faithfulness, your sacrifice, and your servant hearts. Because of you, countless people are blessed, and the love of Jesus is seen in action every day.

The church is not a building. 🏛️❌ It is God’s people, united by His Holy Spirit, moving out into the world to love like He loves! 🕊️This week, Cross Culture Church and Calvary GVR came together in a powerful display of unity to serve our unhoused neighbors at the Aurora Regional Navigation Campus.What a beautiful, humbling opportunity it is to break down walls, lock arms across ministries, and truly be the hands and feet of Jesus to those who need it most.Two Churches: Cross Culture Church & Calvary GVR.One Mission: Serving our neighbors at the Aurora Regional Navigation

Our Love Thy Neighbor Food Bank family is growing — and we couldn’t be more excited!

💛 Maisy is stepping in as our Homeless Outreach Coordinator, bringing deep compassion and a heart for connecting with our unhoused neighbors.

💛 Chantel is joining us as our newest Saturday Food Bank Coordinator, ready to serve with joy and help our weekend team thrive.

We are so grateful for their willingness to lead, love, and serve. Please join us in welcoming them and praying over this new season of ministry together.

This past Saturday, we were grateful to come together with our Northeast Denver community to share resources, hope, and support.

A heartfelt thank you to Leenett and her team at Pura Vida Way, along with our amazing Love Thy Neighbor volunteers, for partnering together to share vital resources with our Northeast Denver community.

Because of this collaboration, neighbors had access to information and support for food, housing, employment opportunities, substance abuse treatment, social services, mental health services, healthcare services, and educational resources.

It takes a community working together to truly care for one another, and we are thankful to stand alongside partners who are committed to lifting others up. Your compassion and service make a real difference.

🌟 Exciting News from Love Thy Neighbor! 🌟

We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Food Bank of the Rockies. This collaboration allows us to expand our reach, strengthen our resources, and continue serving our neighbors with even greater consistency and care.

Every Saturday, our volunteers show up with open hearts to make sure families in our community have access to fresh food, encouragement, and connection. Partnering with Food Bank of the Rockies helps us continue that mission with even more support behind the scenes.

Together, we’re building a stronger, more compassionate community—one food box, one prayer, and one act of kindness at a time.

This morning was such a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. 💛

The volunteers at Love Thy Neighbor Food Bank had the absolute joy of hosting a pancake breakfast for our neighbors while they shopped the food bank today. There was so much laughter, conversation, and genuine connection shared over warm pancakes and smiling faces. 🥞✨

Moments like these remind us that it’s about so much more than groceries — it’s about community, dignity, and walking alongside one another. We are incredibly grateful to serve in such a caring, generous, and supportive community.

Thank you to every volunteer, every neighbor, and every supporter who makes mornings like this possible. We truly love where we live and who we serve. ❤️

We just want to highlight our amazing Love Thy Neighbor Food Bank volunteers and the beautiful community that gathers together every Saturday.

One of our sweet volunteers, Jeanette, blessed everyone yesterday by making warm beef hot dogs and chips for those waiting in line-and for our volunteers to sit and enjoy lunch together. Moments like these remind us how deeply our community cares for one another.

Every Saturday, we see neighbors sharing resources, offering encouragement, praying together 🙏🏽, and building real relationships. It’s not just about the food-though we’re grateful for God’s provision- it’s about the fellowship, connection, and love that fills the place week after week.

We’re so thankful for every volunteer, every shopper, and every person who shows up with kindness in their heart, displaying and declaring the love of Jesus.This is what community looks like, and we’re honored to be part of it.❤️
