Today, The Aura Foundation, in partnership with Cicero Family Service, hosted a 6 hour Adult Mental Health First Aid Certification training, bringing together community members committed to learning how to recognize, understand, and respond to mental health challenges.

Mental health affects every family, workplace, school, and community. By increasing awareness and equipping individuals with practical tools and resources, we are helping build a stronger, more compassionate, and better prepared community.

As part of our commitment to community wellness, education, and empowerment, we will continue to partner with organizations that help expand access to meaningful training and certification opportunities throughout our communities.

The Aura Foundation will be offering a relaxing Sound Bath Session along with our Relaxation Activation Tent, where participants can take a moment to recharge, reset, and experience simple wellness practices designed to support mind and body. 🌿

Join us for a FREE Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Certification Training next Friday.

Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to recognize, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults. I completed the training in January and found it incredibly valuable, eye-opening, and practical both personally and professionally.

The Aura Foundation is proud to partner with Cicero Family Service to offer this certification at no cost to employers, professionals who work with the public, community leaders, and anyone interested in gaining these important skills.
