Condemnation holds us captive to limiting beliefs and repetitive behaviors. To truly transform and move forward, we must embrace and practice full acceptance. It's in accepting ourselves and our experiences that we unlock the door to growth and change.

Love is not a soft or weak emotion…in truth, it requires great courage and strength.

The deepest form of love, vulnerability— is only available to those who know themselves authentically and intimately.

And despite all they know (flaws, imperfections and growing edges)…they have enough self awareness, self love and wisdom to know that true growth only happens when we stand naked in front of another human being…open to giving and receiving love.

Past trauma doesn’t have to define you. Limit you.

Though it may bring pain, anxiety, or even moments of depression, there's another side to being human. We also have the incredible ability to become resilient, to grow, and to thrive despite our challenges or circumstances.

Consider the journey from caterpillar to butterfly. That experience of transformation isn't easy—it comes with numerous trials and struggles. It’s messy. From the outside loooking in —it appears painful. Yet, with resilience, commitment and intention what emerges is something truly extraordinary.

Remember, you dont ever have to journey alone. Reach out to those who can support you—family, therapists, faith leaders, community empowerment groups.

Embrace the power within you (with the help of others) to transform and find the beautiful strength that lies beyond your current experience of trauma. 🦋

Our past experiences often cast long shadows on how we perceive and interact with the world. Attachment theory suggests that the relationships we had early in life shape our adult connections.

How might this play into our interactions with those in positions of power or authority?

Consider these possibilities:

- Are some of us drawn to leaders who exude privilege or wealth, perhaps seeing them as figures of security and stability ?

- Could a verbally combative upbringing make us more accepting of—or even attracted to—aggressive and confrontational figures ?

- If our experiences with mother figures were challenging, do we carry an unconscious bias against women in leadership roles, shaped by our past wounds?

Reflecting on these dynamics can provide clarity on the often unseen forces that influence our preferences or dislikes.

How can awareness of these patterns guide healthier, more conscious choices in the figures you look up to or support?
