Fur Angels Animal Sanctuary Our mission is to give all pets (big and small) a second chance at finding a loving forever home.

Fur Angels Animal Sanctuary is a non profit foster home based animal rescue run by volunteers. Our volunteers donate their time outside of their full time jobs and family to help animals in need. We rescue all kind of animals: Dogs, cats, small animals, birds and even reptiles. We rescue animals from kill shelters, animal control and owner surrenders. Our rescue is unique in that we also work wit

h animals with disabilities. We get no grants or any type of funding, but rely on adoption fees, donors, and sponsorships to help continue our work helping the animals that need us. We also conduct fundraisers to raise necessary funds to provide care for our foster animals. We are located in many different areas: Aurora, Oswego, Chicago, Joliet, and even Northwest Indiana. Sheldon is a 10 year old male Russian tortoise. He has a great appetite and is use to cats and dogs. He was a little shy when coming to Foster's home. But, after a few days he was jetting around the house. He loves to sunbath on top of his log and is a friendly guy. Mimi is a sweet 6 year old pig whose cagemate (her mother) passed away recently. She would be a good bonding option with an older female pig. If adopted as a single pig, she will require daily lap time and attention from her human to ensure she isn't lonely. She loves lounging and napping in her fleece hideys and enjoys her hay and variety of fresh vegetables. Her adoption fee is $25. Please complete an application for adoption at FurAngelsAS.org

Penny and Candy are two sweet seven month old bonded guinea pigs. They are looking for a forever home that will definitely be forever at seven months old their foster home is already their fourth place they've lived. These two ladies were purchased at a pet store together than their mom was tragically killed, a family member took them in and then had to move and was unable to take them with her so they ended up in a foster home

They do take some patience and understanding at first, they love to lay in your lap or in a cat bed on the sofa next to you they also have a pop-up playpen they spend time in. If you are interested in providing these little ladies with a loving comfortable absolutely forever home please fill out an application at Fur Angels Animal Sanctuary. They would love to share your cilantro and Romaine lettuce leaves❤️. Adoption fee is $60 for this adorable pair.

Meet Salt and Pepper! These sweet boys are about 4 years old and full of energy! They can be shy at first but with trust building and patience they will warm up nicely. Once they warm up they’ll come to greet you to beg for playtime and treats. Like most chinchillas the boys do not enjoy being cuddled much but will accept a forehead or chin scratch and take treats from your hand. Salt and Pepper love playtime outside of their cage and will jump on you and run all around while happily squeaking. They enjoy running on their wheel, playing with chew toys, rolling around in their dust bath a few times a week and laying on their cool tile in their cage. Salt and Pepper will need a large enclosure like a double ferret/critter nation cage or similar along with a chinchilla specific wheel and lots of enrichment! If Salt and Pepper sound like your perfect pet please fill out our adoption application at www.furangelsas.com. Their adoption fee is $300
