Evan's Voice Evan's Voice is a nonprofit established to honor Evan Boettler who died by su***de after falling victim to online extortion. Stay tuned here for more details.

Our goals: raise awareness, support victims, and advocate for change. Together, we can make a difference.
Evan's Voice is a newly-formed nonprofit aimed at promoting advocacy, education, resources and a framework for needed conversations. Evan Boettler died tragically by su***de on January 3, 2024. He was a victim of extortion via the internet due to compromising photos and a threat to share them with the people he loved and respected the most. In light of his plight and those of others, local, regional, state, national and international investigations are now underway. We are committed to sharing his story and providing layers of research, hope, advocacy and change to help save other families and communities from going through this horrific challenge. More projects, plans and arenas of outreach are in the works.

Thank you to the first Baptist Church of Kimberling City and Pathways Project Coalition of the Ozarks for hosting Evan's Voice this afternoon. Evan's Voice is contuing to educate kids, families, parents, and adults to and give tools to start conversations to protect kids.

Over the next couple of months we have several presentations in schools throughout Missouri.

A conversation that can save a life....

Financial sextortion doesn’t start with danger. It starts with a friendly “hey.”
Predators often pose as a teen girl, do some flirting, send a sexual photo, and push for one in return. The moment they get anything the threats begin.
“Pay or I'll send this to everyone you know.”
It happens fast, it’s terrifying and it’s happening to boys everywhere, so talk to your teen now.
