Hope for Houns This program will serve to deepen community involvement in the Aurora School District’s families.

This program is designed to help deepen community involvement in the Aurora School District’s efforts to tackle poverty issues and improve student academic performance. This will be accomplished through various partnerships and volunteer opportunities.

It’s almost time for our 2nd Annual FREE Back To School Haircuts!!! Saturday August 22nd from 8-12:30!!! This is a first come, first served basis. Last year we served almost 80 kids in the community so there will be a line and you may have to wait a bit. Please bring school aged child with CLEAN freshly washed hair. We’re so excited to serve our wonderful community!

If your child needs vaccines before the school year gets into full swing, now is a great time to get them caught up! Appointments are encouraged.

Thank you to our generous sponsors for helping provide school supplies, backpacks and resources to prepare our students for a successful school year. We also appreciate the many volunteers who gave their time to help make the event possible.

We are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a wonderful celebration of our students, families and community!
