🎓 Volunteer Opportunity: Scholarship Application Reviewers Needed!

We’re reviewing 500(!) scholarship applications from deserving Aurora Public Schools seniors and are looking for community volunteers to help with scoring.

As a scholarship reviewer, you’ll be assigned a small set of student applications and score them using a clear rubric.

🗓 Review window: February 20 – March 6
⏰ Score applications anytime during the two-week period (fully virtual)
🎥 Training: Virtual and recorded on February 20 at 12:00 PM MST

We are proud to support Zack Golditch and his impactful scholarship for graduating Aurora Public Schools students, like Anayelli.

From classroom to career, HCA HealthONE Aurora continues to be an extraordinary champion for Aurora Public Schools! 🏥✨

Each semester, they welcome our ambitious students into their facilities through the Executive Internship Program, providing invaluable hands-on internship experience in healthcare settings.

Their commitment shines through as a dedicated annual Gala sponsor, and their school supply drives for our Educator Emporium have helped APS teachers stock their classrooms without personal expense.

We're especially excited to announce their newest partnership initiative – a specialized scholarship through the APS Foundation for APS graduates pursuing healthcare careers! This scholarship will launch in the fall and will be distributed to a deserving graduate in spring, 2026.

Aurora Gateway Rotary Club Colorado will be hosting their Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament on Thursday, June 19th at Saddle Rock Golf Course and you can join the fun!

This Teacher Appreciation Week, we are thrilled to spotlight our incredible partnership with Walmart, which has been a cornerstone of support for our educators since 2021!

Thanks to Walmart's generous donation of nearly 25 pallets of new school supplies in 2021, we launched the Educator Emporium—a free school supply store for ALL educators in Aurora Public Schools. 📚✏️

Every year, Walmart continues to show their commitment to our community with additional donations to the Emporium.

The Educator Emporium is funded entirely through donations from generous partners, like Walmart. Further, we rely on support from our committed volunteers to keep the Emporium restocked and organized.
